Happy to answer any questions anyone might have. Observed mileage is right at 25.5 and I tend to drive it hard. Pretty good for an exotic car, pretty crappy compared to anything that purports to be high mileage.
ETA: Speeding while taking a phone pic. I feel like a true BMW driver.

There was an i8 that stopped by the pizza place I work at, just a few days ago. Meant that I didn’t have the rarest car in the entire lot that night. :(

Totally. And it gets at least as much attention as anything else I’ve ever owned. In fact, just this weekend a woman walked out in front of me to take a picture.

i’ve only owned three cars in my life. but i found/find myself turning around to give them a last look as i walk away through the parking lot. i think its a good sign that you got the right car.

Shame they couldn’t use the instrument cluster in today’s BMWs - they look nice as it is.

Here’s the change I’d like to see: remove the rear seats, and replace the 3-banger with the S55 out of the M4. That I would definitely buy.

Not bad. The rotational aspect of driving is good due to the low CG and gas engine placement. Probably better in the twisties than the M6GC.

Then they’d have to call it the M1. They seem hesitant about making a new M1.

How often are you plugging it in, how long are your daily trips?

Basically never. I walk to work so no daily trips, but weekend trip lengths vary. Most common is probably SF->Napa.
On the LA trip I plan to start with max charge just to see what happens to the mileage but don’t expect much difference since max charge is only about 15 miles.

I love them. Such a nice design.
Had trouble getting in and out of one, though. I felt even fatter than I normally do.
